2005

BPM Consult was established by Renco Bakker, who decided to promote process management in the Netherlands. The book “Management van Processen” (Process management) was published this year, laying the foundation for process management in the Netherlands.

2015

For 10 years, BPM Consult has been helping organisations to improve their processes. Meanwhile, the book “Horizontaal organiseren” (Horizontal organisations) has been published.

2025

20th anniversary of BPM Consult as a leading player in the Netherlands.

About us

BPM Consult is the leading expert in process management in the Netherlands. Based in Leusden. With 20 years of experience in advising organisations on their process management structure. In addition, training managers to get started with process improvement themselves.

Business process management

Business process management is a field at the intersection of business administration and organisational psychology. It studies how processes are structured and how people work together within those processes. The aim is to achieve improvements within and between organisations.rnrnProcesses are groups of activities that occur within organisations. Management indicates that we want to manage series of events: control, monitor and optimise them and, if possible, make them predictable.

2005

2010

Colleagues Johnny van de Vliert (2006) and Willem Spronk (2010) have been working at BPM Consult almost since the beginning.

2013

The book “Horizontaal Organiseren” is now available. The book is a highlight and describes how old business concepts such as hierarchy, specialisation and positional thinking stand in the way.

2015

10 years of BPM Consult, grown through consultancy, providing training, process games and sharing our knowledge of process management.

2020

The process canvas is now on the market, a practical book for every organisation to start improving processes themselves.

2025

20th anniversary of BPM Consult as a leading player in the Netherlands. With 11 colleagues, we advise organisations with enthusiasm and dedication on process management.
