2 Daagse Training Bij Bpm Consult
2-day training at BPM Consult
During the two-day training, you will work step by step through the theory of process management while immediately applying it in practice. You will start with the basics, horizontal organisation, process management, and process-oriented working, so that you build a solid theoretical foundation. You will then learn how to map and analyse processes. Through a process game, you will experience process management in practice. Finally, you will learn how to manage processes effectively. Knowledge is gained through theory, hands-on exercises, and reflection, ensuring it is quickly retained.
Description
The training consists of five modules
Module 1: Introduction & self-assessment
We begin with a theoretical explanation of process management and the concept of horizontal organisation as an alternative to traditional bureaucratic structures. We discuss the benefits of process-oriented working and how it contributes to efficiency, quality, and collaboration. We also invite you to share your personal challenges and experiences, ensuring the training aligns closely with the needs of your organisation and allowing you to incorporate real-life examples directly into the exercises.
Module 2: process mapping
The central theme is process design: how do you map processes? In two workshops, we work together to map primary processes and a supporting process. We jointly analyse the outcomes, identify patterns, and learn how processes can better align with each other. We also examine the interaction between stakeholders, applications, and other processes, providing a clear overview and making opportunities for improvement visible.
Module 3: process game
You step into a business process where bottlenecks become tangible and collaboration takes centre stage. By simulating familiar process issues, the exercise creates both recognition and a drive for action.
We reflect collectively on the experience, your role, and what this means for the processes within your organisation.
Module 4: Analysis
You will learn to identify waste using Lean principles. In an interactive workshop, you immediately apply this knowledge to processes within your organisation. We also cover the customer journey, analysing the customer’s movement through the process and identifying improvement points to optimise the customer experience.
Module 5: Process performance & control
We address process performance and indicators: how does a process function, is it efficient, and how can it be managed? You will learn how to establish and use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to actively control processes and continuously improve them.
